I rarely dream or don't remember if I do. Just got a cpap machine so maybe I'll sleep better. But one thing I do is kind of have dreams before I even fall asleep. I know I'm awake Bc I just laid down but I have what seems like a dream with people and places. Usually don't remember the next day though what it was about. Have you ever heard of anything like that? And is it normal?
It is not uncommon to have day dreams that can be interpreted just like night dreams. In addition, experience and dreams can come during the twilight time - that time when you are not quite asleep yet, but neither are you actually awake. It is important to recognize that it is more significant to define dreams based upon their need for interpretation due to their metaphorical nature rather than upon when (awake, asleep, twilight) they occur. As for remembering these dreams - you can apply many of the same principles that are used to remember night time dreams, such as going to bed in peace, waking up gradually rather than abruptly, writing them down (even if only fragments) and asking Holy Spirit to remind you. Also keep in mind that twilight is one of the times when spiritual encounters other than dreams alone may be easier to experience.
