I was in a class presented by John Paul Jackson.
He had a board with instructions, a lamp that looked like some sort of three parts camping lamp. Right then in my dream, I remembered I had dreamt that he showed me a drawing of a lamp with three parts too. I was under the impression this picture of the camp light, the tank represented the need to be constantly filled with the spirit so that the lightbulb would work in any circumstance.
As he spoke I thought: I better remember! I knew I was in a dream and didn't want to forget anything.
He said: assimilation, interpretation, application. These three are important for dream interpretation.
Next I am walking by a boulevard, it was bright, full of people going places. On the right side I see a bus. Now, the bus had a cartoon face of John Paul and it covered the entire front of the bus. He was singing merrily about love and I was instructed to look for signs.
I am a trainee taking the Dream Stories Interpretation Mentoring class and I am interpreting your dream to complete one of my assignments.
Prophetic preparation
Prophetic dream about learning and developing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Important instructions given during your training, that you will need and use.
Don’t forget your training as you move next to ministry opportunities listening to the prophetic instruction, doing everything in the spirit of Love.
Looking forward to your feedback.
Hello eternalcomics,
Thank you for your interpretation. I feel this is a good answer to my dream.
1. Prophetic preparation:
Yes, this seems to be happening at the moment.
2. Learning and developing in the gifts of the Spirit.
Yes, I have been studying and perhaps the dream is indicating to press a bit more seriously, thank you for reminding me of this.
3. Do not forget training as I move to ministry opportunities, listening and doing thingst in Love.
Yes, I have been reminded to review certain things so I think it is wise to keep that in mind.
Thank you for your time and dedication. I am grateful for your boldness and courage to interprete my dream.
Keep going!!! You got this one! Thank you.
@eternalcomics Good job here, but the interpretation might have more impact if it were fitted together in more of a package than presented in the bullet point format you have used. Not a problem here, since the dreamer understood, but a good point for the future.
@susana_carcamo Most of this dream is actually direct with less need for interpretation. I will make one point that is fun to me since I worked with John Paul. He would always speak of the 4 parts of interpretation revelation, interpretation, application and proclamation. I think assimilation sums up the first and last of these four as hearing from God on how and when to proclaim what you heard. Sounds like something he would say and thus I might think of the first part of this dream a more similar to a visitation than a dream. The second part with the cartoon face distinguishes it as needing more interpretation and indicates that as you take your training seriously (the cartoon face doesn't mean light hearted here, but distinguishes from the visitation of the first part) you see evidence (signs) of greater impact.
@Michael B. French thank you for your input and wording feedback for your courageous trainee!. I just wish to add it is very encouraging to hear your interpretation and I never thought the dream could be divided in two parts. Both interpretations have given me much to think about regarding training in dream interpretation courses. Your interpretation has left me with one question: how can one distinguish in a dream if a visitation has taken place? I am pleasantly surprised this happened though. It all began the day after John Paul passed away. I had just discovered his ministry the year before, just! And it made a LOT of sense so since then I have heard everything I can possibly find about his teachings. So when I have seen him in dreams I have associate that with the prophetic and teaching. Thank you so very much for your input, I am definitely copying these answers and matching them to the dream in my journal.
Thank you again, I am grateful for your work and input.
