I dreamt that I was helping at a childrens shelter in an area that I was unfamiliar with. We were outside and it was a bright sunny day. However, that was promptly replaced by black ominous storm clouds. The workers immediately began getting the children into shelter. I noticed the sky slightly brightened up, but it became a milky green color. At this moment I grew very worried. Shortly after this transition I see a very large black tornado. The tornado rapidly approaches us. I begin hearing the winds deafening roar. I get on top of as many children as I can. I begin screaming a prayer of protection over the children, workers, and myself. Finally, the tornado passes and we hear complete silence. No birds, no talking, or anything. I look around to see the building we were in is completely gone; however, no one had even a single scratch. I immediately fell to my knees hands held high looking towards the heaven praising God that we were protected.
This is my first try at dream interpretation. I believe this is a call to intercession for those who are going through storms in their life. Maybe a call to specifically do what I can to reach out to the youth. No one being injured despite the destruction may be to remind me that I am in the shelter of God and that I should trust him to keep me safe as well as those I am sheltering.
This is a great dream even though it speaks of tests and trials that you will have to endure. You have a calling help protect and preserve those who are less mature than yourself. God is going to give you insight into the storms that are coming and show you how to cover those to whom you are called.
Seahornp94 - great job on the interpretation, though the dream may not specifically speak of "youth" it is certainly those who are less mature (whether naturally or spiritually)
Thank you for your interpretation.
