Please Join Dream Stories in a Sabbath break during the month of December. We ask that you not post new dreams during the month of December, as it is a month long break between student classes to allow the team to catch up on all dreams posted prior to December 1 and to focus on their families. We will resume accepting new dreams January 7, 2021.
Dreams posted to the forum will be interpreted by students. They will likely accumulate during breaks between classes, so please keep this in mind. A moderator will respond to all Level 1 students interpretations. A moderator will comment when necessary for all Level 2 students. Level 3 students will post interpretations as moderators. Please leave a comment to let them know how they did after you read their interpretation.
At first I thought the octopus meant bitterness but then I was thinking maybe it was unforgiveness
and the leg he (and maybe me also) was riding was bitterness. Like maybe all the legs are different symptoms of unforgiveness?
At first I was alarmed that he fell off and drowned - thinking he was dying from it. But then the possibility came to mind that he sunk down into the Holy Spirit and was saved that way. Like maybe the lifeguard represents man and how man can’t save him - only Holy Spirit and surrender (falling/sinking). He is a good swimmer so it wouldn’t make since for him to sink unless he wanted to. Which could also signify a negative - like giving up to “death” in the negative sense.
My daughter is young so she didn’t have more info like colors to give me.
It’s difficult for me to be objective on this one because the potential negative meaning is so alarming.
This dream relates to a season that her brother is in where he has become the "victim" of manipulation and control that has also probably affected you. In his case it has had more significant consequences. The key to the dream is a warning that calls for intercession.
This is not a negative dream, but rather a dream given to someone who is young and innocent and can pray without bias. Encourage her to pray for her brother. After reading your second post I do want to point out that we are often manipulated by unforgiveness in our lives and it has the effect of controlling and limiting us. I would trust your "feeling" on what the legs of the octopus mean. Whether he is sinking into the Holy Spirit or the attack is intended to destroy him is not the point of the dream, but rather that God sees where he is and is raising up pure prayer warriors to cover him and to insure that the enemy's plan is unsuccessful.
Thanks!
