Grayson was a student I had when I worked as an Early Head Start teacher and Nadine is his mother. Grayson has spinal bifida so he is paralyzed from the waste down. I recently keep having dreams where they appear in them. One dream I was planning a wedding and I noticed Nadine and Grayson were there to be in the wedding. Another dream Nadine was giving me some toys so I went with her to her place and I saw a red toy in her trunk. The most recent dream I was at a water theme park called “Grayson‘s Land” And it was a theme park specifically designed for kids with spinal bifida. While I’m sure the dreams may have meaning indicidally I am more thinking that Nadine and Grayson are a symbol of something since they are never the focus of the dream they just usually happen to be there.

You are thinking on the right track Sierra. I think that Grayson’s spinal bifida is the symbol in his case and with Nadine it is the name. Spinal Bifida is where the backbone doesn’t close all the way, and protect the nerves of the spinal cord. Nadine means hope by the way.
