My friend asked me about her dream. She and her daughter went to sea/beach. Light colors...and they found out that pastor who baptized her daughter last year died. Whole dream. I understand what death in dreams might mean. But I struggled with focus. Was this about this pastor or about her or both? She didn't see him or his funeral in this dream...

This dream is about/for the dreamer. To determine the focus you look for the central figure of the dream. Something that the dream cannot do without and still exist. In this case she and her daughter are taking all the action and if they don't find out about the pastor, the dream still continues.
