I have always recorded my dreams and prayed for their interpretation. Although, the Lord may reveal some of the symbolism within the dreams, the only dreams I have ever had the interpretation of have been the dreams God has given me for other people. The dreams that are for me(or my family), so far, have required someone else to interpret them. Is this common... do I simply need to continue learning about interpretation? Or could this be the way the Lord chooses to speak to me?? Does this question make sense??

Please leave a comment to let them know how they did after you read their interpretation.
Dreams posted to the forum will be interpreted by students. They will likely accumulate during breaks between classes, so please keep this in mind. Remember most interpretations are provided by students and they are learning what they are doing. Moderators will often have more seasoned interpretations when they do comment on a dream. A moderator often responds to Level 1 student interpretations and comments when necessary for Level 2 students. Level 3 students will post interpretations as student moderators.
We have been unable to get the flood of spam on the forum under control. It appears we are under direct cyber attack. As a result, we will be closing the forum in the near future and reopening it in a new format. If you have a dream that has not yet been interpreted (and we know there are a lot) please copy it in preparation of posting on the new forum site. We apologize for the difficulty this has caused over the last few months.

Thank you for taking the time to shepherd so many! Our family has been tremendously blessed, challenged, and encouraged by God through you !!!!
Great question! Our own dreams are often very difficult to interpret. While some people hear clearly regarding the meaning of dreams about themselves, many struggle in this area. This is primarily due to the fact that we are so familiar with our own life that we often start trying to apply the dream before we finish interpreting it. Another obstacle to interpreting our own dreams is the fact that we know ourselves so well that we sometimes don't really want to hear what God is saying to us, often because it might mean we need to change something. It should also be remembered that these same issues will often make it difficult for those who are very close to us (spouse, children, best friend, etc.) to interpret our dreams about ourselves or even their dreams about us.
Regardless of the reason, dreams we dream about ourselves can be very challenging. While it is possible that this is simply the way the Lord speaks to you, I think it is more likely that you simply need to continue growing in both your understanding of interpretation and in your open and honest relationship with the Lord. Humility is a key when it comes to understanding dreams about ourselves. The more Spirit Ruled we become and the less we find ourselves Soul Ruled, the more easily we can find ourselves able to understand our own dreams.
