When I was a child I frequently had nightmares to the point I started praying "God, I dont care if I dont have good dreams or even dream at all just please stop the bad dreams". After a while my dreams stopped. 15 or so years later I realize the importance of dreams and God using them to speak to us so I desperately started praying He woud open that area of my life back up and allow me to hear from Him in dreams. All that to say, I have begun to dream again but the majority of them seem to be from the enemy- dark, scary, perverted, violent dreams that carry with me after I wake up. How do I pray against recieving dreams from the enemy while still being open to recieve them from the Lord? Or do I just need to receive the good with the bad knowing the Lord can use the bad to speak to me as well.

Bind up and attacks that would come from the enemy in the hours of the night as well as attacks coming from the second heaven. I experience this during attacks of the enemy because he doesn't like what you are doing for the Lord and it's his will and goal to stop you from succeeding. Also bind up and dismantle any word that is uttered, muttered, or chanted in any tongue in any language in any realm in any dimension through any host or entity against you or your family and decree it null and void in the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord has been showing me things as far as what he is doing and he is putting seeds in your dreams that will come forth in the physical realm, because everything has to come from the spiritual before the natural realm this is how he stops the Children of God from moving forward in their destiny. When you have a dream like this again say this right after you wake up in prayer. Any seed or any implantation sent by the enemy through touch, taste, sound, imagery or by any communication and any other form sent in the hours of the night against me, I declare and decree those seeds will not germinate and are null and void in the name of Jesus Christ.
My experience is to pray nightly and seek the Lords face in prayer and in his word. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what you need to be doing as well and always test the spirits.

The enemy wants to destroy your gift. Pray that the Lord will guard your night season and your dreams and take a stand (in the spirit) against the enemy's attacks in your dreams. Be sure you go to bed in peace - not allowing any unresolved conflict to continue as you go to sleep. In addition, find a copy of the Scripture on MP3 or any other format that will allow you to play it on repeat through the night. You should set the volume so low that you have to focus your attention to hear it. It is ok if you loose track or your mind wanders, just call you mind back to attention on the Word being read. This helps train you mind to stay focused on the Word of God as you ultimately fall asleep and also helps keep from the sound itself becoming a hindrance to your sleep.
