Up from the water

My family is at a lake and my dad and I are holding artwork that we have created. For some reason we set it down on the ground and go to join the rest of the family a few yards behind us. We are only with them for a few minutes. We go to get our artwork again and the lake water has risen significantly within those minutes. So much so that I am almost knee deep in the water when I get to where we set the artwork down. Some of the artwork has floated away and my dad and I wade in further to retrieve it. He is able to get some.

I see a photograph that my dad took of a black And white flower that I really want to save. I start to swim out to it and I see a very dark and large shape floating under the surface of the water. I can’t quite make out what it is, but as it floats closer I begin to think it is a dead bear. I tell my dad what I see and he says that since it is dead, we are probably safe, but should head back to shore. He turns around to go back with the art he was able to get.

I still want to save the flower photo, so I am still in the water. When my dad is back on shore, I see the dead bear begin to rise up out of the water and I see that it is actually an orangutan the size of a bear and the same color as the bear. So basically an orangutan disguised as a bear. I know it was waiting for my dad to leave and it wanted to come for me. I turn back to shore and look behind me and see that there are many dead bear/orangutans that are rising up out of the water to come after me. I reach the shore, but don’t remember if I was able to save the photograph or not.
