The dream begins with me standing in the foyer of a regal and opulent palace. Everything was white with gold accents or trimmed in gold. I was in awe as I stood there and gazed around. Suddenly a man appeared and he seemed to be a royal Sheikh. He definitely was a man of status and importance. He gave me a warm welcome and his smile was so friendly. I immediately felt the need to explain that I was a Christian and was not Muslim. He just smiled and said that was ok. He went on to explain that though he was Muslim we were still united by love. He then told me to make myself at home and gave me permission to explore the palace at my leisure. I thanked him for his hospitality and he then excused himself.
I then begin to wonder around the palace on a self guided tour. I strolled down various halls and corridors...scorridors...some halls and doors were restricted inasmuch as they were guarded with tall guards dressed in white turbans on their heads and a sabre across their waist. Whenever i saw one of these guards I knew that hall or door was off limits so I just kept it moving.
Suddenly I ran across a showcase on the left side of the hall. I walked over to it to see what was inside. My mouth flew open in awe as I stared at the beautiful gems and jewelry in the display case. I slowly moved to my left as i made my way around the display case looking at all the opulent jewelry. I then noticed a ring i moved in closer to get a better look. I picked up the ring and as i was admiring it a voice of a man spoke saying then ring was for me. The ring was a wedding ring set with a large dimond carat in the middle. I hesitated because of the apparent high value of the ring. The voice spoke again and instructed me to put the ring on because the ring belonged to me. I put the ring on my ring finger on my left hand and the dream ended.
Thank you Michael. As a screenwriter the interpretation very much resonates with what I have longed to do as it relates to my desire to introduce more faith-based films and films with a prophetic backdrop to Hollywood.
This is a great dream that speaks of favor that God is going to be giving you into the lives of people who may be Muslim, but certainly into the lives of individuals who have a different view of who God is. The Lord is going to give you insight into their lives, but keep you safe from going into places that would pull you into their darkness. As you are faithful to walk through this process, God's covenant with you will become a thing of great value, not only for you, but it will be put on display for them to recognize and see both the value of and beauty in.
