The Church

in Dreams for Interpretation

I had 2 separate dreams and I feel that both has to do with our local church. In the first dream my husband and I were in one of our pastor's home. The house was very big with lost of rooms but no furniture. The pastor's wife' daughter came into the room saying that people say that she and her mother are sisters. My husband then requested me to go and buy them some goods. When I got outside I saw that the house had no roof, there was only a cement slab that formed the foundation for a roof.

In second dream we were at the hairdressers house and she had a big temporary portable pool filled with water, that can also be used by adults. I threw a lot of different kinds fish in this pool and I remember that some were like gold fish and I also sow beautiful big Koi fish in the pool. The hairdresser's husband came out telling me that I'm not allowed to put the fish in the pool as she will not like it. Later in the dream I saw that the pool had collapsed and that the owners of the pool's pet dogs were eating the fish. When I asked about to lost water they said that it was not a problem as it can quickly be filled up with a water storage tank.

My interpretation: I think that our local church is in trouble as a house, female, pool and hairdresser speak of the church and the fish represent young believers.

I feel that this dream is to encourage intercession for the church, that the church and its ministers and leaders may be united. It is also a reminder to focus on the spiritual development and wellbeing of followers, building the right environment for growth and not be distracted, putting aside all differences. God's anointing and presence will continue to be in the church during this time, God wants to restore and strengthen the church.

These are two connected dreams to me. The church you are in may be facing issues with pride and vanity and as a result, there is an opening for the enemy to come and take advantage of the situation to remove whatever life is still remaining. You had tried to bring new life in your own way but it was not well accepted. The Lord sees your heart and is encouraging you to seek Him for His way and His wisdom and not to give up and to continue to intercede and pray for He has much in store. Reninded me as well of Ezekiel’s valley of dry bones where the breath (the Holy Spirit) of God brought back life to the dry bones and raise up an army.
