Being pursued, Alison (my Wife) and I being lead by a third person into a cave with a large entrance on the side of a mountain, there was lots of mud and dirt, but it opened up into rooms that resembled rooms in a castle with high ceilings and arch ways going in different direction, from room to room. The rooms were filled with old furniture and stuff that was just left there. Thinking we were alone, I spotted a small man trying to hide. I went to find him as Alison and the third person kept looking around. With knife drawn over his head, the little man jumped me from behind. I blocked his attack and pinned him on the floor. He begun to plead for mercy, I don’t know why, but I let him up. Alison and the third person came running over to see everything was ok. I assured them it was and we all began to look around again. The third person and I were about 30’ ahead of Alison and the little man when a book dropped out of thin air from around 10’. Alison responded out of reflex and caught the book, but because of its size, she cradled it to the floor. The book stood on its end. Its cover was archaic and bold in looks. Then the little man began to transform into a very large angel in white and shouted, that’s what I’ve been looking for, it was Lucifer, but at the same time the third person also transformed into what I would say was an Arch Angel of God, also in bright white. He said to Lucifer, you can’t have it! End of Dream!
Thank you all, for what you saw with this dream. Your inputs have opened to me, confirmation. The spiritual warfare, revelations The Holy Spirit has spoken to me, which has been many things. @rlfisherishere While I feel you have received good interpretations from the students, I did want to provide my input for you. The only thing I see really different or more than they have shared is the feeling that the Lord is guiding you to overcome a strongman and clear out a stronghold in your life in order to receive the revelation/blessing that has been hidden for you.
There has been a stronghold in your life that the Lord has desired to "clear out". The Lord has been guiding you and your family into the secret places, but you have been ambushed by the enemy in the process. The dream indicates that you have had to deal with some spiritual warfare, but that in the end you have been successful in overcoming the strongman and releasing the blessings that have been recorded on your behalf that the enemy was trying to steal. Your wife will be significant in the process of obtaining this revelation.
@The Wenceslaos , @icsumyi, @eternalcomics Great job all. You all have good insight for this dream said in different ways. The only thing I think that is significant that none of you mentioned is the entry into the cave that opens up into castle like rooms. The mud and dirt indicate it is a stronghold, but the old furniture waiting to be reclaimed indicate that God desires it to become a "secret place" filled with comforts waiting to be reclaimed and restored.
As you have indicated, The Kingdom of God is truly beyond the natural mind to conceive and yes we have this desire and drive to pursue it with all we have and know how to do, but it will only happen as The Holy Spirit reveals and opens up the Kingdom of Heaven. It comes at a cost and with much prayer. This gives us, my wife and I, grandeur perspective to keep pursing. Thank You! Remember, or you may not know, but the powers of darkness stay under the disguise of things we will let our guards down to get close enough to do damage. The Gifts of God will help discern and I will always encourage people to Always keep their guards up and their Armor on, prepared to engage the enemy at any turn. The dream seems to say that you and your wife are in a journey leading by the strong presence of God to obtain a long lost ancient understanding which the enemy is also after. At the beginning is maybe not too pleasant but the strong angelic help is always with you. While you are beginning a ministry, your wife, Alison, will be the one being first shown and embracing this ancient understanding. The good thing is that you have the ability to detect and stop the enemy attack.

God has guided you into a journey to uncover wisdom lost to the world, it's so precious that even the enemy wants to have it, but God has sent help all along and you will have it as He intended to give you the treasure. Proverbs 2 and Proverbs 25:2.
The Gifts of God are eternal, but yet they need refined through training and I believe God has blessed you with a gift and is being refined through training. May my words encourage you, because I and my wife are encouraged by what you have shared with us. Yes, The Holy Spirit has had the lead in our life and the enemy has been in pursuit and has attacked, but God has prevailed. Just the other day The Holy Spirit told me He is Restoring me. One thing you don't know is I submitted this dream over a year ago and had forgotten about it until The Holy Spirit spoke to me about re-submitting it and I did and here we are. There is more to come such as the Revelation my wife is to catch and that will be as The Spirit drops it to her.
