I’m in a small square black room. I’m pretty sure I am alone (there might have been a woman in the room with me but I’m unsure).
The room is painted black on the inside walls, floor-to ceiling. I can see there is a small opening on one of the walls. A round hole big enough for me to look out of the room.
I boost myself up and crawl through the hole in the wall and I see outside. It’s bright daylight and in front of me are two aisles of chairs with row upon row of people seated. All are facing me like an audience. People are sitting in the chairs but I don’t recognize them. I only recognize on the front row my friend, Josh. He see me and then stands up and looks at me.
Suddenly, I want to go back inside. I back myself into the room again and the dream ends.
(I wonder why I was hesitant/fearful at the end of the dream. I was surprised and felt immobilized so it wasn’t exaCtly fear. But I am confused about my response to back away.)
Great dream and good job by @Laveena Benito and @GIG CREATION. Laveena, I love the way you boiled the dream down to just a sentence or two. Gig has categorized the dream absolutely right as a self condition dream and the interpretation of "Josh" as Joshua is certainly helpful for encouragement, but I think that Josh is the Lord. @Havilah M. a self condition dream is one that provides the dreamer with some information about where they are in life. You asked why you are fearful at the end and I would interpret this as relating to a reverential awe or some degree of anxiety that you are not worthy. Keep in mind that "Josh", the Lord, stands for you and this is typically a sign of appreciation - such as a standing ovation - so there is no need to worry, you are capable!

This looks like a self condition dream. You are made to give public testimony or to teach. However, you seem to be not confident enough and would rather stay within your little box of comfort zone. The Holy Spirit (that lady who is there but you aren't sure whether she is there or not) is waiting for you to involve her more. And just like the Joshua in the Bible, the Lord wants to encourage you "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for He Himself (the Lord your God) will be with you wherever you go."
