This dreams has three segments- the first is,
I was stepping onto a large boat unknowing where my destination was. My parents were on the boat and I said " how long am I going to be gone"? They said three days and three nights- I'm still not sure on destination. I was surprised to see my parents there. I remember looking out of the window to the boat going forward and the water going by.
The second part of the dream was my daughter first cousin wanted to order a game and have it shipped to my house so his mother wouldn't get it.
The third and final segment was
My Daughter Farrah and I had went to a strip mall, the people we rode with decided not to stay, so they left. We had also left our purses and cell phones in the floor board of the car. So when they left we were without them. when we were ready to leave I realized I didn't have my phone, so I ask the guy at the customer service if I could use his cell phone to call for a ride. I called (I believe) my parents to come get us. Meantime, Farrah and I were wearing our blue church shirts-( the color of the shirts stood out as a vibrant blue) and on the it says "Our City, Our State, Our Nation, Our world with the scripture Acts 1:8. there were four people there- Not sure who the other two were. While waiting on our ride, we leave the store and started walking on this railroad area. The area seemed to be a Telecommunications working area- there were trucks that were riding on the railroads working- one truck I remember going super fast around the track on a corner.
when our ride got to the store/mall he (Nate Byrd) could see us walking up ahead- I ask Him how did you see us and he said " I saw you" (this stood out)
when we left we went back to a house and started to prepare lots of food- (like for a holiday or something) My feeling was that I was with my family, lot of people and it felt comfortable.
Hi Pam. I am a student taking the Dream Stories Mentoring course and am interpreting your dream to complete one of my assignments. I believe this dream relates to the Lord having you in a season of preparation. You have seen the Spirit move in your life, however you have been uncertain about the timing of things and where you'll end up. I believe he could be leading you to an evangelistic opportunity, where He is calling you to live out Acts 1:8 and be a witness in the world. It's possible that you have identified with another area of ministry, but as you step out into the world, he is continuing to prepare the way by opening up communications likely in the evangelistic area of deliverance. I think this is something He has set aside for you and your daughter, and as you step out and trust him, leaving behind the things that you once identified with, He will equip you to equip others within your church family. @Michael B. It sounds like there's an opportunity coming up for you. In some sense, it'll be into the unknown (since destination and time frame is not known to you) But it's something that your parents will be onboard with. From your dream, it seems like you are a safe haven for others in the family.
That you left your purses and cell phones in the floor board of the car but borrowed a cell phone etc. speaks to me that God's got you covered--that He'll always provide even if it's a new way that may look different from what you're used to.
There seems to be a call to witness and demonstrate the power of the gospel starting from where you are locally and expanding out on a larger scale (based on the words on the shirts). That you're also going to have a generational influence starting from your own family with your daughter.
There seems to be a theme of new communication patterns and new lines of communication opening up in this upcoming season. It could be a family/work/ministry context--something to pray and ask God about.
I feel that God wants to encourage you in the last part of your dream - that He sees you and all that you do, even if you think no one notices. This stood out in the dream because God wants to affirm you in this way. I'm not sure who Nate Byrd is but this could add further context to the dream since he is the one who saw you.
Finally, it seems like family is important to you as it's a repeated theme in all three parts of the dream. Your family members played an important role in the dream (whether it was your parents coming to get you, your daughter being with you, etc.) This is probably something to pray about in connection with the new season/opportunities that might be coming up as they appeared in your dream.
