I had a dream that I was the president. Somehow I was nominated. I felt unprepared like my right hand person who should have been helping me and telling me what to do or prepare for was missing. I got dressed to go somewhere to meet the people but my white dress was like chewed up at the bottom. Like it was deteriorating. It might have even been wet. We went to this gathering which I think was a dinner where I was supposed to address the people but I didn’t know it. My hair was wet cause I was just out of the shower. I walked up in front of all the people following my dad and somehow I didn’t have to speak, he did it for me I think. But then I felt like they should hear from me or I wasn’t doing my job as president. I wanted to connect with the people.
After that I was walked over to a table to meet the woman who was supposed to be my right hand who said she would do anything for me or something like that but that’s really all I saw from her. She didn’t stay with me.
Then a bunch of people and myself got on this big tour looking bus and it started driving down the street pretty recklessly. We almost hit a bunch of things and then while it was still going fast I was like someone’s got to do something so I ran up and pushed the breaks. We were going so fast it didn’t seem to do much but then we stopped.
Somewhere in the dream, possibly at the end there was a couple. I knew the girl from childhood, her name was Liz or Elisabeth and her husband. They were just dating in the dream sitting at a table and all the sudden he casually pulls out a ring with a huge rock and asks her to marry him. He might not have even said it she just said yes and was excited.
Thank you @Damimi3 snd @Michael B. French ! I’m with Michael, no apology needed for going over something twice! I was excited to see two people had interpreted. There was a situation in real life where I totally put the breaks on a ministry and although I dont believe fear caused it there was fear present. Thank you both for talking about the calling from childhood. I didnt see that at all but it’s given me an extra boost of confidence to get after one of the gifts I thought maybe God has given me. Thank you again!

The Lord is calling you into a position of authority that you feel that you aren’t ready for. Maybe you’ve relied on others in the past and He is showing you that you can rely on him as He goes before you. He will speak for you or give you the words as you connect with people. I think bus speaks of an area of ministry you may be involved in that carries other people and shows them things but when you can’t see what’s going on, fear sets in and you put on the brakes. The name Elizabeth means “my God is an oath.” I believe Holy Spirit may be reminding you of an oath, promise or commitment of some sorts from childhood.
@crystal thank you! What you said does make sense. I’m on the prayer team at church and it is hard sometimes to wait on God for the right words. I’m trying but it’s been a stretch, I don’t want to say the wrong thing when praying for people. Its sometimes hard to hear from Him with the distraction of music and all the people. Standing up in front while we wait for people to come for prayer is also not my favorite but I felt God calling me to do it. Prayer ministry might be what this dream was all about. I’m not sure what He’s proposing in the dream yet but I know He’ll reveal that too. Thanks for taking the time to help me with it. There were some things you said that I could see but most I couldn’t.

So what I am discerning from your dream is that the enemy may be trying to make you feel self-conscious about your abilities/gifts. In the dream you say that you feel unprepared and that someone should be helping you. Then you put on this white dress that is being chewed. I see this as you being attacked which in turn is creating the feelings of being unequipped for the job you have been chosen for. Another part that stands out is the Father. Your dad that walks out in front of you and speaks for you. I feel that this is Father God saying He is going before you and preparing the way. Don't worry about pleasing people (the crowd in the dream) but be obedient in pleasing the Lord. The women that shows up and say's she will do anything for you, sounds like the Holy Spirit reassuring you that you are not alone and will be the helper you need. The bus part sounds like a caution to not over speak or under speak, but just say exactly what the Holy Spirit shares with you. Adding more or less can lead to recklessness. So in conclusion don't be worried about what you are going to say, allow your Father God to speak for you, and don't be afraid of speaking to people or crowds God puts you in front of.
The friend proposal part sounds like God calling you to say Yes to his proposal for your life, and it could also take place in the natural with your friend to provide you conformation.
