In this dream, I was looking for a peaceful spot at my university campus to unwind (i’m not at uni anymore) and I came across the most gorgeous and breathtakingly beautiful place I have ever seen. There was this gorgeous ancient-looking pavilion on the other side of this canyon, and on the other side of the pavilion there was this beautiful view over green valleys and countryside. The pavilion had pillars all the way around holding up the roof, and no walls. It had a beautifully decorated floor, and even though the architecture was in an ancient style, the pavilion was in perfect condition. I was very surprised when I found this place. There were bright beams of sunlight shining through the pillars of the pavilion, and it was just so incredibly beautiful.

Between me and this pavilion there was this canyon, which had a reddish dirt colour, with this cluster/line of huge stone columns coming up from the canyon floor that you can jump across on to get to the other side. Alex (Alexandra, the youth pastor at our church who was appointed to be on staff this year) was also there, and was not surprised to see this place, as if she knew about it already, and she easily used the stone columns to jump across to the other side.
When I tried to do the same, I misjudged a jump, landed in the canyon, and had to climb up between two columns before I could keep heading towards the pavilion.

I am a level 3 studenot moderator. I like the interpretation given by @vivi.whlee - about learning to jump in faith. I like to share my perspective on this.
I can feel the beauty of the dream in the way @Michelle Steenkamp describe it. I feel that as you learn to go higher and deeper in the ways of the Lord, the Lord is inviting you to see His inner court ( pavilion) His Favour and His protection/ His Sanctuary of Rest and the Lord is showing that the journey is not straightforward as there will be ups and downs as you step out in faith in ministry possibly among the youths, you will find success as you learn the ways to navigate .

I am a trainee taking the Dream Stories Interpretation Mentoring Class and I am interpreting your dream to complete one of my assignment. My interpretation is that you are in between of two ways of life and want to make a decision or make a way out. There is an invitation from the Holy One that you should follow Him, taking your faith to jump and follow through.
