The heart of this dream is that the enemy has been trying to steal from you and that while it may have taken some time to be revealed, it does not have to lead to despair. Instead the revelation brings hope of restoration. This is likely a dream from your adversary that your creator is using to reveal his plans, thus the feeling of a nightmare when you awoke.

There is someone, or people, in your life that you rely on to help you out with different matters. They are not always entirely sure how to help or if they should say anything so don't. They may also be taking from you what is rightfully yours. This leaves you feeling lost and frustrated. God wants you to lean into him to help sort matters out. Trust that He will help you.

However God is calling you to pray and war against such attack and to put your trust in God to do the battles for you for the battle belongs to the Lord. The dream is saying you have a sense that the reason for your financial challenges may be a result of the consequences of past actions, and you may have believed that is also the reason for being unable to retain wealth.
However, even so, the truth is that there is also an eternal King and priest; that prays and goes beyond time, and has the ability to cover for all your past, present and future. Even in the negative, He is there and able to balance things out so that you may stand on what's been paid off and start anew.
Allow me to share a small note apart from the dream, it may or may not be applicable to you. Do disregard it if it doesn't make sense - A thought that came up, 'what we focus on, we also empower'. It maybe conviction at times but it maybe also good to note that sometimes the enemy comes to distract us in a form of self-accusation, and if he can get us to focus on that, we may have just allowed to make him more powerful than he really is.

Hi @Tricia Burwell, I felt that that the enemy had stolen something from you that had may have affected you in the areas of finances, your identity or self-worth and you felt you had been brought to the lowest point in your life.
You are encouraged to be open, not be afraid to work with Him and go over all your fears and issues one by one, to lay them all before Him for your Creator already knows the issues you are struggling with and nothing is hidden from Him.
