In July, I dreamt that I was in a hospital with my dad who was a patient. I heard that the medical staff were busy not only with attending to patients but also to getting settled into their new building. They had recently moved, and they were in the process of becoming familiar with new equipment as well as their new space.
Since the staff were talking with me about this, they let me see the old hospital. I could see it from the air above as if I were somehow flying – in a plane? Via a drone? It was a simple tall rectangular red brick building with the hospital name at the top. I wondered what would happen to all the furniture and medical equipment remaining in this building. The hospital name reminded me of my dad’s hospital, Fairview…but I think it actually was “Fed” something.
This is a brilliant interpretation, Michael. As I read your interpretation, I am thinking about how accurately this describes what is going on in my church...even though most people don't seem to recognize it...so, give your people more dreams, Lord!

@Atsuko Sibuya This is a dream that certainly has different layers of understanding. I think the layer that you are sensing relates to the state of the church and perhaps specifically to changes in a ministry/purpose that you are called to walk in (this could indeed be a healing ministry, though not necessarily physical healing alone). The dream indicates that you (and/or the Church) are in a season of transition where old things and old ways of doing things are becoming less relevant, though still visible. They may have functioned in a reasonable way in the past, but it is time for them to be "upgraded" even though this will take some getting used to. While this is clearly taking place around you, the fact that you are taken to see where things have come from to where they are now indicates that you are being given insight into your own purpose as well.
Hi @Atsuko Sibuya - Yes, perhaps the hospitals are indicative of the nature of the ministry God is 'moving' you into...that of comfort, healing, and restoration. There was a former season but now there will be an 'upgraded' season with 'new equipment', which is a very exciting idea, indeed!

Hi @Jody Abboud ! How awesome to have your dream interpretation here :) I love that. Thank you! I love the encouragement in your interpretation about angels to help with care for my dad. I do have to say, though, that in the dream, my dad was almost incidental, if that makes sense? The focus in the dream seemed to be more on the changes in the hospital, and that I was given the privilege to look at the old abandoned hospital. I'm not sure if this would change your interpretation? @chiacat , thank you also for your interpretation. I wonder if this dream has anything to do with healing ministry? It seems like God is bringing me quiet opportunities to pray for people to be healed, including my dad who I've been caregiving for the past few years. Thank you again!!
