I had a dream earlier this week that my husband and I were having a party. It was at our house (but not a home we live in right now). At some point, he left the gathering to go and lay down. I waited for a while. There were lots of people laughing and I remember little Christmas lights hanging around our porch and yard.
I decided to leave the party and go to where he was. When he realized I was there, he got up and left. I felt hurt/disappointed that he was having to leave. I got up and walked a bit and ended up in my mother's hospital room. She had been sleeping. She sat up and started to vomit huge chunks of something. I collected it on to a paper towel while she told me she thought she was better. I told her I would be back that I needed to let her doctor see what had happened. When I walked down the hall, I stopped by a closed door in a little recessed space and began to sob. A very kind (I remember thinking she was very neat, clean, and felt warmth come from her)...nurse came to me and started to comforted me just before I woke.
@Summer Putman and @jeshin Good insight for this dream. I do believe that this dream deals with feelings of loss and hurt and that Holy Spirit is the comforter represented by the nurse in the dream. See my interpretation below for additional insight.
@tracyrlambert This is actually a very good dream, though I am sure it didn't feel like it as you were dreaming. This dream does indeed indicate that you have been through multiple phases of feeling loss and pain on different levels. Most of this has come in and through your family atmosphere, but not always in the same fashion. At times the pain has felt like it was being intentionally inflicted and at other times it has felt like an attack from the outside. Regardless of how it has come, it has burdened you and weighted you down, but God has never abandoned you nor forsaken you. Holy Spirit has always been there to tend to you hurt and provide healing and comfort though you sometimes have not recognized His presence until you felt that you were at the end of your rope.
I am a trainee taking the Dream Stories Interpretation Mentoring class Level 2 and I am interpreting your dream to complete one of my assignments.
@tracyrlambert I am sensing that there may have been an area in the past where your husband wasn't fully let you know of. Jesus reminds you to look to His lights because He is birthing something in your life. Also, it seems that there’s something generationally passed down that’s already being dealt with. Jesus sends His warmest love, comfort and peace in place of your feelings of loss and hurts.
@Summer Putman i agree with you that this dream shows that dreamer is never alone. Also totally on point that this dream is to call to pray life and joy over the dreamer’s mom and husband. @Michael B. French
Hi @tracyrlambert ! I am a trainee taking the Dream Stories Interpretation Mentoring class and I am interpreting your dream to complete one of my assignments.
I see a triangle of people that you keep going to to help, one to the next, and then going to Holy Spirit for help, strength, and renewing. I believe the Lord wants to remind you that you are never alone, and He is always with you, especially during some hard moments. Pray for and speak life and joy over your mom and your husband.
Please feel free to comment letting me know if any of this helps! I do especially love the nurse at the ending of this dream. Such a sweet reminder of the Lord’s warmth and comfort. @Michael B. French
