I was at school. We were given these circle, chewy candies to give to the kids (middle schoolers) during the intruder drill. The alarm went off, I quickly locked my classroom door, then asked if anyone wanted to check to make sure it was locked. No one wanted too. The classroom door window was covered, so we stayed in there and held our breath that the door had actually locked. A couple of the kids were up and about and talking. We saw shadows and heard voices in the hallway. They were checking doors. They checked mine and it was locked. I found it very odd that only the alarm went off and no announcement was ever made as to where the intruder was, it wasn’t like our real life drills.Â

I think the dream is great as it shows that you are in a season of training where God is sharpening your discernment to be alert to the spiritual things that God may show you. God is teaching and showing you how to protect yourself and those you are caring for from the enemy and this is like the training ground to prepare you for the future where you can support and help others.

I agree with @jeshin 's interpretation and would also add that there seems to be some performance anxiety around some things you have no control over and God is reassuring you that He has protected and covered you.
