Little lamb

@Rebecca Newell Thank you so much for being open and honest with the students and other visitors who comment! It is very helpful to all of us to have good feedback. I just wanted to pop in and say that while I see the value of all that has been discussed, I can also see and agree with @jeshin. We often think of lambs as associated with Jesus, but He also says that "My sheep hear my voice" and lambs can also speak of young and immature believers to whom you may be called to bring comfort.

@Michael B. French I recently hired a new girl and she is a believer but grew up in a Christian cult which is very religious. She is always hearing her parents in the back of her head and all the religious rules she grew up with. We have been having little talks about God and who Jesus really is and that He doesn’t punish us but gently leads us to Him and His abounding love. I’ve shared a few books with her in hopes that she will see God as a loving caring Father that still speaks to us today and works miracles.

@eternalcomics that makes sense, I’ve been asking for His presence 24/7 in my life, I don’t want to go anywhere without Him.

Hey Rebecca, thanks for the quick reply as always ,Apologies if my delivery needs work, if you sense hostility in my short answers,I assure you there's none there, I just want to encourage others to pursue God . However I think this subject for whatever reason is a sore spot by your reaction, so I'll offer some scriptures instead of my opinion ,

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Holiness is something we all strive for and it takes us putting down flesh , paul describes it as a (reasonable service) that we do ,it's not something that just happens when we're saved , it's a day by day , step by step process that we grow in , and feel out through conviction and study of scripture,

Anyway if iv missed your dream I apologize , but I really believe he is calling you into a deeper relationship , that's beyond the understanding of Grace or (being chosen by him )and it comes through sacrifice of ourselves

Hey @John I am a level 2 student and commenting on your interpretation of @Rebecca Newell's dream for one of my assignments. I personally think your interpretation isn't wrong but perhaps there could be other ways to piece the sentence in such a way that it relates more personally to Rebecca. I like the fact that you mentioned that God is inviting Rebecca to become more christlike as it is indeed true that as one draws in closer in intimacy with God, in which it results in holiness or delighting in the law of the Lord.

You did get the core elements as mentioned later in the comments below correct, but perhaps in the phrasing you could do it in a way or even ask the Lord for the wisdom to make the interpretation more relatable to Rebecca. If you had phrased it that " The Lord is inviting you into that place of intimacy and with gentle love to the lamb just as the Father will show love to His son and to you, He help you to grown in love, humility & christ-likeness," it probably would have resonated more with Rebecca.
