Jim Goll Gymnasium Dream
I was in a big brightly lit gym shooting basketball. There was another guy with me. Jim Goll was at the same basket we were. He was bigger than what he is, healthier, not skinny at all. He was balding on top, but had long grey hair hanging down from the back just past his shoulders.
I shot one and missed.
He said “you might be better off to go straight to the basket.”
He then dribbled right past me and did a layup. I was surprised how high he jumped.
The guy with me wanted to try to dunk it. He was looking for a machine that would automatically raise the rim but we couldn’t find it. I saw a hand crank we could use but he said that would take to long. (Strange thing is, it was already the right height, why would we raise it?)
We kept shooting and at one point the ball got stuck but after a couple minutes it fell, tho this wasn’t a basketball more like a dodge ball.
I noticed a group of guys on another part of the court, so I walked over to talk with them. The whole time Jim is shooting baskets and doing layups by himself.
The group was watching him. Jim did not say anything but I knew he wanted to try to dunk it as well. The group was talking like he couldn’t do it. I said I’m not so sure, the way he had jumped up and done the layup, he was plenty high enough to dunk it.
(I thought he could do it)

I believe this dream is saying you have been drawn and inspired by bold and accurate prophetic anointing, however you have not believed you could do it or own it yet, but you do want to try reaching to higher realms. While others may not believe God can or will show them how to reach to these higher realms, as you continued to practice and trying new things with your prophetic gift, your faith in God will increase.

Hi @waverly1dad I am a student taking the dream stories mentoring class and am interpreting your dream to complete one of my assignments. This is such a cool dream! I believe what the Lord is showing you pertains to your personal goals. Jim Goll is basically saying that you’d be better off to position yourself closer to the goal. You might go for it a couple of times and it not go through but the Lord will provide another way that will. Watching him and believing he can do it while others doubted speaks of your faith in God, that He can do it, you’ve seen him do it before. @Michael B. French
