I’ve been asking God for clarity on two job offers from separate companies . Also one of the gentlemen from the company I felt like I had a connection with him through hearing his story (it stood out to me that we both were divorced on the exact same day ) I’ve never met him just through trainings where he has told his story . He‘s apart of one of the companies I’m interested in rejoining so is a guy named chad . In my dream I was sitting at the bar with David (physical and he was wearing a purple suit ) he known for wearing this color suit , but it was as if I was talking to chad ( who I was closely working with ) I was telling chad that I left the company bc I didn’t want to work with the people that he was connected to (this is the reason I left ) He said it was ok and not to worry I could work with him . But it was David’s physical that I was looking at . behind us was a bar with different wine on the table . He offered me a glass of wine and said this is the type of wine the other company offers . I spit it out and agreed that it was nasty . We then agreed that I would work with him and instead of giving each other a handshake we connected our right index and middle fingers together. He was sitting on the right side of me and both of our fingers were from our right hands . Any interpretation ?

@blessedoverflow This is one of those fun dreams that has two different but related interpretations. One speaks to the natural as a direct answer to what you were asking the Lord about (always be careful here to look for independent confirmation, before simply taking an interpretation as the absolute go ahead on direction) and the other speaks of a spiritual journey you are on. @Kelli Buryn has addressed the direction answer and @Bonnie Lam has addressed the spiritual one. Both have done a good job and I do not feel the need to add any particulars to them. While I might use different language, the heart of their interpretations are accurate.

'David' in your dream represents King, his purple suit means royalty - David means Jesus. I feel like in your dream, Jesus is extending an invitation to you to work and partner with Him. The 'offering of a glass of wine' could mean 'establishing a covenant' in the old Hebrew culture in creating a marriage proposal. I feel Jesus wants you not to take other covenant offers by others but stick with Him. He is also inviting you to a deeper level of intimacy and relationship.
