I had a small guinea pig as a pet. It was a cute one to me in the dream n I tried to care for it. It was in a pet box like the ones for snakes and reptiles, n it has got two layers and the bottom part was water. It jumped into the water for a bit n struggled to get back up on the try surface of the box, so I opened up the lid of the cage to create a bigger space in between the water and dry surface levels for the guinea pig.

It seems that @Lisa Kaufenberg has looked st this dream as extrinsic and @ashes2beauty has looked at it intrinsically. This is one of the awesome things about dreams - they can at times have more than one correct understanding. I feel like both of them have seen different sides of the same dream and it is for @Sunny Shen to decide whether one or both resonate. I personally don’t have any other insight on this particular dream.

This dream seems so simple and yet so hard! :) I agree with @Lisa K that the dream seems to address elements of struggling and adjusting, as well as wanting to go further with God. I have pet guinea pigs at home so I know that they don't like water (showering or swimming). May I venture an additional insight that this guinea pig may represent a relatively new habit or hobby that you have that's good in and of itself. But it's in a context that is not suitable for this to go further in terms of growth and fruit bearing. Instead of tweaking the environment it's in, perhaps just entirely change it. @Michael B. I believe your dream could mean that as you are helping others in their walk with Christ, they may struggle at times with aspects of their spiritual journey. when you say that you were adjusting the 2 levels in the cage to create more space in between the wet level and the dry level, was your action actually helpful to the guineapig (now that you are awake and thinking about it? :-))
