Dad took me to church

in Dreams for Interpretation

My Dad asked if I'd like to go to church with him because he would be leading in prayer at the service. I was surprised but thrilled because he had never shown any interest in spiritual things. The church building just looked like a shopfront from the outside, but inside was huge and outdoors. Dad went up on stage with the ministry team while I stayed down at ground level, wondering where to sit. Lots of elementary school-aged children dressed in blue charged up to the right front of the stage (where they disappeared) in neat ranks, some piggy-backing others, when they were invited to do so.

Then I woke up, and really had to think to remember that my dad died 20 years ago already.

I believe that @jeshin and @meimei.yiu have identified the core point in this dream. @Gail's interpretation is not wrong, but is focused on a different aspect of the dream that is certainly intended to provide encouragement and confidence. @Ahsahn this dream also is intended to let you know that you are being called into a new place to see things with new insight and be a part of the new things that God is preparing for the next generation as the previous one takes the stage to show the way.

@Ahsahn I am a trainee taking the Dream Stories Interpretation Mentoring class Level 2 and I am interpreting your dream to complete one of my assignments. Your Heavenly Father sees your heart and is inviting you to join Him in a ministry. It may not look it on the outside but it is actually going to have a very wide reach and Holy Spirit-filled. The ministry may have some focus on loving and building up children who have emotional pains. And they are going to be not just going to God for themselves but also help each other along the journey. @Michael B. French
