It is also clear to me that man you are in relationship with has lot of responsibilities and good things going on in his life. I particularly sense that this dream is from the Creator God for you to pray for him specifically to know God's timing and gain insights, if you have a faith background, as he needs help from God in his relationship with you and your family.

I think this dream shows that the man you are in relationship with has a heavier calling (as in, more authority) from his Creator God. He is someone who waits upon God for His timing rather than taking things into his own hands. God has abundantly equipped him to know God is pure, perfect, committed, and promised him that He will never leave him.
